Phantom Film Lab is a platform for independent and cult cinema. We're not trying to have the biggest catalog, but one chosen with judgment: fewer films, properly framed with context.
Every week we select a small group of titles and organize them into thematic collections. The logic is simple: less noise, more editorial decisions.
We don't use automated recommendations. Every film in the catalog was chosen by people, not by an algorithm.
High-definition streaming, available on computer, phone and tablet.
A single plan unlocks the whole catalog. No per-film purchases, no ads. Cancel anytime.
We work directly with distributors and filmmakers. No film goes up without the corresponding license or permission.
Phantom is split into three spaces, each with a different role:
Three to five films screening at once. Free with an account, no subscription required. The lineup changes every week.
Groups of films connected by a theme, an era or an idea, not by genre. Part of the subscription catalog.
The full catalog, available with an active subscription. Browse by title, director or collection, with no auto-generated lists.
Phantom Film Lab started in Colombia, founded by filmmaker Alexander Trecco. The idea came from a specific problem: independent film was getting lost in massive catalogs, with no curation or context to help find it.
We still run on that same logic today, even as the catalog and the audience have gone global: fewer titles, chosen with judgment, with enough context to make sense of them.
