Sebastián Díaz Barriga

Sebastián Díaz Barriga (Mexico City, June 1998). Author of the poetry collection Un rezo para mi padre (Herring Publishers, 2018), translated and published in English in 2020 by the same publisher. Winner of the UNAM-SECTEI Youth Poetry Award 2021 with the book Nada del otro mundo (Libros UNAM, 2022). Translator of Loading Mercury with a Pitchfork by American writer Richard Brautigan (Kriller 71, Spain, 2023 and Zindo Gafuri, Argentina, 2023). He was a fellow of the Jóvenes Creadores grant program in poetry (2024) and studied Filmmaking at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC).
