Peter has been a filmmaker since his early teens, it began with claymation shorts in São Paulo, then a series of action/adventure short films in Mexico City. During his Cinematography studies at the San Francisco Art Institute, he landed his first professional job, writing and directing the music video "Bone Alley", collaborating with cinematographer Lance Acord (Lost in Translation) and having the music video premiere on MTV in 1988. After graduating in 1991, he moved to Los Angeles and worked for 2 years at Roger Corman's studios as an art director on 8 feature films. In 1993 and 1997, he produced 2 feature films "Rocket Babydolls" and "An Act of Sabotage" for ZDF, Germany.
