Juliana Balvin
Director
Juliana Balvin is a young film director from Antioquia and a graduate of the Film program at ITM. Her work focuses on fiction cinema with a human, spiritual, and social approach, exploring themes such as faith, guilt, redemption, and collective memory. She is the screenwriter, director, and producer of the feature film Una llamada a medianoche. She has worked as the general producer of the short film Esperanza (dir. Gianina Tinoco, 2024) and as the line producer of the short film Que todo lo que pienses se muera contigo (dir. Santiago Henao Mesa). In addition, she has participated in various university short films, particularly in the production area.
