Arnaldo Drés González (b. Caracas, 1986) is a Venezuelan visual artist and experimental filmmaker based in Hamburg, Germany. His cinematic practice merges video art, sound experimentation, performance, and mixed-media processes to create works that explore introspection, memory, poetic gesture, and the sensory and material presence of the moving image. His films and audiovisual projects have been screened internationally at festivals and institutions such as the WNDX Festival of Moving Image (Canada), TIVA – Tirana International Video Art Festival (Albania), Intermediaciones – International Exhibition of Video Art and Experimental Film (Colombia), and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas (Venezuela).
