Andrés Vargas Toro

He began his career in 2018 as a production assistant, an experience that marked the beginning of his definitive bond with cinema. It was there that he discovered his vocation for audiovisual storytelling and began working alongside his cousin, Leonardo Tamariz, with whom he would later establish his studio, Comamenta Cine. He holds a degree in Communication and, over the years, has focused his training and professional practice on the art of storytelling through cinematic language. His work has been featured in various festivals, both national (Mexican) and international, in addition to being presented in venues such as the Cineteca Nacional.
